Lovelace Math Competition for Girls was on 5/31 @ Rutgers!
Sargam is a freshman majoring in math at MIT and a graduate of the Edison Academy Magnet School. She was an avid competitor in math competitions, having placed 1st and 2nd at ARML in 2023 and 2022, respectively. Additionally, she is a two-time PUMaC Division A Individual Finalist, placed in the top 50 at HMMT February subject tests, and ranked in the top 10 at Girls in Math at Yale. She was also a participant in the MIT PRIMES-USA program. Outside of math competitions, she is very interested in number theory and geometry.
Doreen is an incoming freshman at Northeastern University. She is a two-time regional winner and national qualifier for the Future Business Leaders of America. She is also the Director of Marketing and Communications at INTEGIRLS NYC/NJ and the Alphademic Learning, both nonprofit organizations. Doreen does taekwondo and is a black belt.
Maiya is a junior in Princeton, NJ interested in math and other sciences such as physics. She started doing competition math from an early age and have been awarded Honorable Mention in Math Prize for Girls and Honorable Mention in USAJMO. Apart from math she also enjoys walking her dog, playing card games, and art.
Tara is a junior from Bellevue High School in Washington. She has qualified for AIME and competed in CMIMC and CMM. She has also done research in graph theory and attended SUMaC. Outside of math, she enjoys playing violin, soccer, and fighting with her twin brother.
Jessica is a junior at Mission San Jose High School. She is a 2-time MPfG qualifier and enjoys participating in competitions like BMT and SMT. In her free time, she likes going on long walks, listening to music, and taking pictures of the sky. She is excited to share her passion and support young girls in math.
Emma is a junior at Redmond High School. She is a two-time MPfG qualifier, three-time AIME qualifier, made AMC 10 DHR, and enjoys competing in various other math competitions as well. Aside from math, she loves to read, bake, play card games, and collect cute stationery. She hopes to encourage other young girls interested in math through Lovelace!
Michelle is a freshman from the United States with a passion for art, writing, and STEM. Michelle has been published many times in various literary magazines, and is currently the Editor-in-Chief of SOLANA Literary. She is currently a part of her school's Mock Trial and Speech and Debate Teams, as well as a tutor for Cherielle Code. As a volunteer for Lovelace Math Circle, Michelle hopes to inspire others' love for mathematics and learning.
Aahana is a sophomore at John P. Stevens High School in Edison, NJ. She has been an avid competitor in various math competitions, including the AMC 8 and 10, for many years. She has made Honor Roll on the AMC 8. Aside from math, she enjoys being a member of her school’s Science Olympiad team, Science Bowl team, and Student Council Executive Board. She is also a dedicated violist and has gotten accepted into the Region and All-State orchestras for the last three years.
Aashita is a freshman at West High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. She has participated in the AMCs, ARML, HMMT, PUMAC, SMT, BMT, and more. In addition, she qualified for the USAJMO and is a 3x MATHCOUNTS National qualifier. She has also qualified for the Math Prize for Girls Olympiad and attended G2 in 2025. Outside of math, she enjoys science, loves crocheting, and participates in clubs like debate and mock trial, running, and piano.
Jessica is a junior at Montgomery Blair High School. She enjoys participating in math competitions like AMC, AIME, HMMT, and PUMaC. In her free time, Jessica likes creating art, learning new things through the Science Olympiad, swimming, and trying new foods. She looks forward to helping young girls find a passion in math!
Mia is a current sophomore at Westborough High School in Massachusetts. She likes participating in math competitions and is a 3 time AIME Qualifier. She also attended Canada USA Mathcamp in 2025. Aside from math, Mia enjoys playing soccer, speedcubing, doing linguistics, and participating in science olympiad.
Hannah is a junior at Lakeside School. Since starting competition math in elementary school, she has qualified for the AIME five times, the USAJMO twice, been a JMO Honorable Mention, and attended PROMYS 2025. When not doing math, she enjoys golf, flute, dance, Science Olympiad, and chasing sunsets with friends.
Alison Choi is a junior at Greenhills High School in Michigan. She is a two-time AIME qualifier, AMC 10 awardee, an MP4G Olympiad Qualifier, and enjoys participating in other math competitions. Aside from math, she enjoys researching, playing the violin, baking, and going on long walks. She is excited to help young girls through Lovelace!
Judy is a sophomore at Iroquois Ridge High School in Ontario, Canada. She enjoys participating in math competitions such as AMC, AIME, MP4G, and many others. Outside of math, she plays libero for her club volleyball team. She also has a strong interest in science, cooking, and listening to R&B and rap music. She is eager to inspire younger girls to discover their love for math through Lovelace!
Audrey is a sophomore at The Brearley School in New York City. She has been doing competition math since fifth grade and has qualified for the AIME every year since 8th grade. She is interested in advanced math as well and attended the Ross Mathematics Program in 2025. In addition to math, she runs the Latin nonprofit Via Latina, which she co-founded with a friend, and loves to play tennis, do creative writing, play piano, and cook.
Sophia is a sophomore at San Marino High School in Los Angeles County, California. She qualified for the AIME and participated in the MP4G. In her community, she leads a club that promotes equitable access to STEM education for children under 10. Her favorite subject is chemistry. Outside of academics, she is a Star Rank Boy Scout and a varsity badminton player who also enjoys indie music and oil painting.
Grace is a sophomore at High Technology High School with a passion for math. As a two-time AIME qualifier, AMC 10 Honor Roll student, and two-time MATHCOUNTS New Jersey State qualifier, she loves tackling challenging problems, especially geometry. Beyond math, she plays competitive tennis, draws extensively, reads manga, and enjoys spending time with her chickens.
Nethra Ramkumar is a freshman at the Edison Academy Magnet School. Nethra is an AIME qualifier, AMC 10 Honor Roll recipient, and ARML Nationals qualifier, and has earned numerous awards in national and regional mathematics competitions. She is also an ACSL Gold Medalist and enjoys coding and robotics. Outside of STEM, Nethra is an accomplished violinist and Carnatic vocalist. When she is not working on math problems or practicing music, she enjoys spending time with her energetic two-year-old brother, who always keeps her smiling.
Tanvi is a current freshman at Edison Academy Magnet School. She enjoys competition math, competing in the AMC competition series since starting in middle school, as well as MathCounts and MOEMS. When not doing math, she enjoys playing the violin, tennis, and loves to read. She is excited to support young girls with an interest in math.
Lucy is a sophomore at West High School who loves math, science, and programming. She is an AIME qualifier and a National MATHCOUNTS competitor. Outside of math, she enjoys tennis, playing the piano, and learning new things. She is excited to help other girls discover their passion for math!
Sravya is a rising junior at WW-P High School North with a strong passion for mathematics. She has participated in and placed in numerous collegiate-level mathematics competitions, is a two-time AIME qualifier, and enjoys sharing her love of math with others. Apart from math, she also participates in Future Problem Solving at school and loves getting froyo with her friends!!
