There will be a final test to assess proficiency. Classes will be taking place from the first week of March to the first week of May. Who should take this course: Students who are in middle school and are familiar with basic Algebra, Combinatorics, Probability, and Geometry (equivalent to completion of the Introductory Competition Math Lovelace Class). The content covered will range from mid-late AMC8 to early AMC10 level. Given the immense amount of content that is covered in these competitions, the course is fast-paced and vigorous, so students should expect around 1-2 hours of homework. Homework follows the homework policy.

Description:
Who should take this course: Students with a strong grasp of early AMC 10 topics, including basic counting strategies, algebraic manipulation, basic geometric concepts like similar triangles, and divisibility (equivalent to completion of the Middle-Level Competition Math Lovelace Class). This course is intended to be from mid to late AMC 10 level, building off of fundamental concepts so that students may master the advanced intuition necessary to score well on the AMC. As class time is limited and will be devoted to lectures, it is essential that students complete the problem sets diligently. The homework will consist of past or mock AMC 10 questions, and there will be a mock AMC 10 given at the end of the course.

Description:
This course is intended for students in middle school and early high school (freshman and sophomore) who want to learn about the fundamental procedures that allow businesses to run effectively. Students will learn how organizations are structured, how decisions are made, how money flows through a business, how operations are managed, and how businesses interact with customers and society. The materials and concepts covered in this class can also help prepare high school students for the Future Business Leaders of America tournaments in this topic.
